I think the initial offering of deathmatch only is kind of lame, but after figuring out how to use all 3 classes properly (blocking is ridiculously important for everyone, apparently... I initially thought it was just bullshit), I can see getting a lot out of the game via stuff like team death match or something along those lines... Seriously: it's really satisfying to defeat an alien face-to-face while using the marine (and it's fun using the marine since it feels tense to be so fragile). That said, I think the other part that made today's game so great was that it was primarily played among friends over Live. We need to do more shit like that. |
