Not only you get all that was free (and still is) including online play and all that. but you get huge discounts and free games. for a 50$ subscription today to the online service for 12 months (+ 3 free months). you get LittleBigPlanet (30$ value) Wipeout HD (18$ value) Destruction Derby (5$ value) Fieldrunners (5$ value) Age of Zombies (5$ value) all that in the very first month! that's a 63$ value for just 50$ (for the 15 months!) and you get many more games in the coming months (1 PSN game, 1 PsOne Classic, and 2 Minis per month) lets not forget the discounts, free DLCs, premium avatars and themes, and more. PS+ is an awesome value if you ask me. 63$ value for the first month for just 3.33$ is just awesome. btw Littlebigplanet aparently is for PAL. I have no idea for North America if you get the game or not.
